In the concluding blog on this awesome fight. Ali somehow asserts himself and gets a weakener on Owen.

 

 

And in possibly the highest, straightest pile driver you will see goes for the kill.

 

Although Owen somehow gets out on the two count. Ali is clever and wastes no time in the back and stranglehold

 

Weakened, Owen taps out.

 

  Owen walks back defeated. He gets huge admiration from the crowd.

The fight continues with Ali getting back into a series of weakeners

 

Phoenix unleashes his  power in the air. And starts to turn the tide

 

But Ali counters. The slams are taking their toll on Owen.

 



Owen goes off the ropes again. This time outside the ring. Its clear he has hurt Ali

 

 

But to Owen's amazement Ali is up on the two count - just

Owen Phoenix in action (Part One)

 

The first is a series of blogs to cover a great 4FW fight. Owen Phoenix takes on the reigning junior heavyweight champ Benham Ali aka The Sheik.

 

At 180lbs Owen is now starting to look the junior heavyweight.

 

 

But the Sheik is no mean 190lb beast.

 

 

 

The Sheik is early to attack. His aim is clear. He needs to slow Phoenix.

 

And to slow him down he will stop at nothing. Ali corners Owen and chokes him with the flag.
